Answer to Image Challenge 15

The Image showing hypopigmented macules that became more evident when illuminated with Wood's lamp is diagnosed as "Vitiligo".

Vitiligo also known as "leukoderma" is a relatively common dermatological disorder that causes depigmentation in patches of skin caused by malfunction or death of melanocytes in skin.
The pathogenesis of vitiligo is poorly understood and believed to be due to a combination of autoimmune, genetic and environmental factors.

Trivia: "King of Pop" Michael Jackson was diagnosed with Vitiligo in 1996.
