PhD position in Ancient Mycobacterium tuberculosis genome project
A post for a PhD candidate with research experience in the areas of Molecular Biology, Genetics and Egyptology is vacant. The graduate student will be working on the main research theme in Identification of Bacterial and Protozoan DNA in Mummies. The campus offers a stimulating research environment in a lively and social institute in Tuebingen at the Institute for Tropical Medicine with active interaction with several other research groups. Previous experience with Ancient DNA will be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
The proposed start date will be from 1st Sep. The graduate student will be paid a stipend of 1000 Euros per month.
